Ken will be back week 31 and then we gradually come back one by one 🙂
Full team again in w33.

Like always – a friendly reminder not to attempt to do any advanced moves this period such as launching new assortments, move things around etc.
You probably know by now what actions that can cause problems so please avoid them. Thanks 🙂

Content Stop due to Sitecore 10.1

We are now ready to do the upgrade to Sitecore 10.1.
As of tonight (tuesday) at 20:00 (Swedish time), so-called Content Stop prevails.

This means that you should NOT create new content in Sitecore (inRiver is ok).

You should also not create new user accounts in Sitecore.
IF this is done in existing Sitecore, this information will need to be added again in Sitecore 10.1.

We expect Sitecore 10.1 to be up and running on Friday morning.
Please communicate this information to the people with you who set up customer accounts.

New team members :)

I have the pleasure to announce that we have signed with two new employees.

David Borg, 35, replace Björn as Digital Business Developer.
David has many years of experience working with digital communication. He is currently working at Orkla House Care and joins the team 29/9.

Adam Sturesson, 22, is a newly graduated engineer who has studied computer technology; software development and mobile platforms in Jönköping.
He starts with us 23/8.

With this we have 2/3 positions filled. We will intensify the work with the third as soon we’re back from our vacations.

I wish you all a wonderful summer.

Summer vacation 2021

Many of us swedes start our vacation soon and for most part July is a slow pace period. Also our team will gradually go on vacation from this week forward and one by one returning in the first and second week of August.

Support during this upcoming period will therefore be at a low level.
We will be completely closed in w29-30 (19/7 – 2/8.) meaning that no support will be handled during theese weeks.

So as always we remind you not to do any advanced moves this period such as launching new assortments, move things around etc.
You probably know by now what actions that can cause problems so please avoid them. Thanks 🙂

Sebastian Bennett has decided to leave OEM

Sebastian has also chosen to end his employment at OEM.

Sebastian joined us back in 2017 and quickly became an important player with deep experience that leveled up the team and the solution. We will greatly miss his attitude and stubbornness.

Sebastian’s new role will be system architect at Sogeti in Jönköping. His last day with is Friday 17 September.

We will soon start the process of finding a replacement.

Johan Halvardsson has decided to leave OEM

For those of you who have not already heard, Johan Halvardsson has decided to leave OEM after a total of 6 years within the group.

Johan’s new employer will be Avensia, where he will work with focus on inRiver architecture for various clients.

Johan will be missed both for his skills and personality.

Johan’s last working day will be 24/6.
The process of finding a replacement has started.

Björn Brolin has resigned from OEM

Hi,
Unfortunately i must deliver the sad news that Björn Brolin has chosen to resign from his job with us at OEM International.
Björn has chosen to move on to Kabe Group where he will work in a similar role, but more hands-on, which he has missed.

He has added great competence to the team, is highly appreciated by you as well as by us and will of course be missed. We wish him best of luck at Kabe.

Björn’s last day will be 16/6. I will start the process of finding a replacement soon.

Oliver – our newest colleague

Hi,
As many of you know, we have a new colleague in the team and it’s time for a brief introduction 🙂

Oliver Hallqvist started with us at the beginning of March. He is 25 years old, born and raised in Jönköping. He has studied computer technology at Jönköping University. Oliver’s latest workplace was a small advertising agency in town.
With us, he will complement the team with web / system development.

Warm welcome, Oliver 🙂
